River Forest Road will be closed to through traffic Monday, Oct. 13 through Oct. 23, for construction of drainage culverts.
A marked detour route has been established for those who normally travel on River Forest Road.
Eastbound traffic on River Forest will detour south on College Street to Watson Drive, turn East on Watson Drive to Woodbrook Drive and turn on Woodbrook Drive to SR 167 (Jefferson Street).
Westbound traffic on River Forest Road will detour south on SR 167 (Jefferson Street) to Woodbrook Drive, turn West on Woodbrook Drive to Watson Drive, left on Watson Drive to College Street and North on College Street to River Forest Road.
The project includes replacement of cross drains and the addition of a westbound left turn lane on River Forest Road at the intersection of the new Chipola College entrance road which is currently under construction. The overall road project is scheduled to be completed in December.
