Alicia Hatcher to Vie for Miss National Peanut Festival Title

Alicia Hatcher, Miss Jackson County 2008-2009 will vie for the title of Miss National Peanut Festival this weekend at the Dothan Civic Center.
A sophomore at Chipola College, Alicia is a member of Phi Theta Kappa where she serves as President. She also serves as Student Ambassador President, Honors Club President, is an SGA sophomore class senator, Parliamentarian for the Chipola College Governance Council, member of Mu Alpha Theta, and the Pre-med Society.
Alicia is one of twenty students internationally to be named a 2008 Guistewhite Scholar through Phi Theta Kappa. Other awards and honors she has received include 2008 Outstanding Phi Theta Kappa Officer, 1st Team All-Florida Academic Team, 3rd Team All-USA Today Academic Team, Chipola College Outstanding SGA Member, and the 2007 Chipola College Coca-Cola Scholar.
Alicia is the nineteen year old daughter of Chuck and Patte Hatcher. She has one sister, India. She is the granddaughter of Jerre and Christine Nettles of Marianna, and the late Peggy B. Nettles, Pat Odom and the late Jim Odom of Dellwood, Woodrow and Linda Hatcher of Marianna, FL and Chuck and Eileen Brown of North Haven, CT.
