Mrs. Mary Lauen celebrated her 90th birthday on August 20th. In June she and her husband, Elmer Lauen, celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary. One of Mrs. Lauen’s favorite Bible verses is Proverbs 3:5-6. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path." She is often heard saying, "To God be the glory!" The Jackson County Times wishes Mary Lauen a great year and congratulates this couple for 66 years of sharing.
