The Chipola Brain Bowl Team finished third in a 20-team tournament in Orlando on Oct. 24. Chipola finished third behind the first place University of Florida A team and the second place Florida State University B team. Chipola also scored two wins over the FSU A team.
Chipola was the only community college in the playoff bracket which included FSU A, FSU B and UF A. Chipola player Dallin Kelson was the ninth individual among 65 players. His team-mate Ethan Hewett was tenth overall.
Chipola is the two-time defending Florida state champion.
