Republican Club Meeting Scheduled for July 14, 2009
Rep. Brad Drake will be the speaker at the Republican Club meeting at noon, Tuesday, July 14. The meeting will be held at Jim’s Buffet & Grill, everyone is invited to attend. Drake will speak on legislation that the Florida House has before it. Taxes, energy, homeowners insurance and many other issues are very important to all of us. There will be a Q & A session after his talk.
Sandy Helms, Chairman of the Jackson County Republican Party states: “This is a wonderful opportunity for everyone, regardless of party affiliation, to come out and listen to Representative Drake share his knowledge and insights about current issues in Florida, and the political climate that exists as we move forward in this challenging financial time.”
Rep Drake was elected to the Florida House in 2008 and serves on the following Committees:

♦ Florida Legislative Committee on Intergovernmental Relations
♦ Roads, Bridges & Ports Policy Committee
♦ State & Community Colleges & Workforce Policy Committee
♦ Transportation & Economic Development Appropriations Committee
