Jackson County Christmas Fund Committee Coordinates Community Programs

The Christmas Fund is a non-profit organization that coordinates Christmas activities in Jackson County to avoid duplication of services. The Christmas Fund Committee would like to ask any church or organization planning on assisting Jackson County residents or families with food, toys or clothing during the holidays to contact them to ensure that as many families as possible can be provided assistance for the Christmas season.
The Jackson County Christmas Fund also provides assistance, as funds are available, for working families, single parents working or attending school and eligible senior citizens. In addition, the Jackson County Christmas Fund obtains sponsors for foster children and senior citizens residing in our community.
The Jackson County Christmas Fund Committee will be taking referrals for assistance at Christmas which began October 1st. If you are in need of assistance this holiday season you may call the Jackson County Christmas Fund phone line at 209-8700 to obtain an application. The phone line will be open for referrals thru October 15th. Application deadline is October 25th. All applications must be received by the deadline in order for the applicant to be considered for assistance. Please remember the phone line at 209-8700 will only be open to take referrals October 1-15th and your application must be received by October 25th in order to determine eligibility.
