● Cornerstone Bike Nite - The Thursday Motorcycle group that meets at 6:00 p.m. at the Cornerstone Restaurant south of Marianna on Highway 71.
● Greater St. Luke A.M.E. Church - Malone Florida - Annual Women’s Day Observance - The exciting and electrifying Minister Pearl Jackson, of Northview Christian Church, Dothan, AL will be in charge of the services. The Services will begin at 6PM CST.

● The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce will have a ribbon cutting for Half Shells Seafood Restaurant & Raw Bar at 4:00 p.m. They are located at 2914 Optimist Drive (off of Penn. Ave. & Old Cottondale Rd.) Owners Colin Hutchinson and Javier Valdovinos invite everyone to the ribbon cutting which will be followed by a Chamber Business After Hours at 5:00 p.m. For more information contact Half-Shells at 482-6800 or the Chamber at 482-8060.

● Cornerstone Bikers - The bikers that meet at Cornerstone Restaurant are planning a ride on Saturday, July 25th. All bikers are welcome. We will be leaving from Cornerstone Restaurant at 9 am. Riding and enjoying the scenery. We will stop for lunch. We will return to Marianna no later than 1:30 pm. Please come and join us. If you do not ride a bike, meet us and leave in a car. Enjoy the fun!!!!!
● Greater St. Luke A.M.E. Church - Malone Florida - Annual Women’s Day Observance - The Dynamic Pastor and Singer, Pastor Katie Brown of Tree of LIfe C.L.G.I in Marianna, FL will deliver the message. Pastor Brown will also perform some of her songs for her new gospel CD. The Services will begin at 6PM CST.
● The McChapel AME Church Sr. Choir will be having their choir anniversary, Saturday, July 25th. Saturday before the 4th Sunday at 6PM, CST. The church is located at 4963 Old US Road, Marianna, Fl., (850) 569-2184. Choirs, Groups, and soloists from the Tri-State area will be singing. Everyone is invited to come and worship in Jesus’ name.

● Greater St. Luke A.M.E. Church - Malone Florida - Annual Women’s Day Observance - The GRAND FINALE will convene at 11AM CST. The chosen color will be worn and all women are asked to wear hats. Our Keynote Speaker will be Sis. Beverlye Colson Neal of Orlando, FL. Beverlye is the President & CEO of CLAJUL Professional Consultants and the Former Executive Director of the Florida Conference NAACP. An Absolutely scrumptious dinner will be served immediately after the program.
● Pleasant Grove will be celebrating there “Go Tell Somebody” program on Sunday July 26th at 11am. The speaker for that day will be Evangelist Sam Gray of Cottondale, Florida. Everyone is invited to come.
● New Beginning Outreach Ministries, Inc. along with Pastors Marvin and Irene Henderson will be observing our annual Family & Friends Day program on July 26, 2009. Sunday School starts at 9:45 a.m. and our Morning Worship starts at 11:00 a.m. The guest speaker is Elder Adrian Abner of Blountstown, Florida and everyone is invited to attend. We assure you that you will be blessed from start to finish because we are the church that’s so alive, it’s worth the drive!

Our guest speaker will be Rev. Darrold Franklin and congregation from St. Michael M.B. Church in Jacob City. Dinner will be served at the Cottondale Community Center after the service. ● Kick off for VBS at Sneads First United Methodist Church will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2009 at 4-6 pm. Bounce house, Big outdoor slide and food will be served to all in attendance. ● The Parkinson’s Support Group meets at noon Monday, July 27th, in the Education Classroom on the ground floor of Jackson Hospital, 4250 Hospital Drive, Marianna. Program presented by Bill Wertman, M.S.W., Executive Director, The Alzheimer’s Project, Inc. Lunch courtesy of Jackson Hospital. Caregivers are welcome to attend and there is no cost to participate.
● Bible School will be July 27-31 at the Methodist Church, 5:30 -8pm, with a FULL meal being served nightly. This years theme is Camp EDGE, Experience, Discover, God Everywhere. All ages welcome 1-100.
● Circle Hill Baptist Church, 7170 Circle Hill road, Sneads, will have Vacation bible School beginning Monday, July 27th – Friday, July 31st. Friday will be family night. There will be a meal at 6:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. the study will be digging for god’s treasures and what an expedition it will be, come one and all. The study will be from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM. Adventure and fun is in store for all. All children who have not pre-registered please arrive at 5:45 PM to register before the evening meal. ● Marianna Ted Walt Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #12046 - The VFW Meet on the 1st Thursday of the month, at 2830 Wynn Street. The covered dish supper is at 6 p.m., then at 7 p.m. the VFW meets and the VFW Auxiliary meets.

● Lactation (Breastfeeding) Class is Tuesday, August 18th, 5:30 – 7:00pm, Education Classroom on the Ground Floor of Jackson Hospital, 4250 Hospital Drive, Marianna, FL. Nutritious snack and course materials provided. There is no cost to participants as the class is brought to the community through the partnering of The Florida Department of Health, Jackson County, Florida WIC, Chipola Healthy Start and Jackson Hospital.
