The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville is pleased to welcome Tommy Green, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Brandon, FL, to preach in chapel September 8-10 beginning at 10 am.
Having twenty-nine years of pastoral ministry experience, Green has served in several churches throughout the southeast United States. Since becoming senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Brandon, the church has grown from 2700 to 5500 members and was selected one of the top 100 churches in baptisms for the Southern Baptist Convention in 2007.
Green holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Samford University, as well as a Master of Divinity and Doctor of Theology from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He served as President of the Florida Baptist Convention from 2002-2004 and has served on several committees in both the Southern Baptist Convention and the Florida Baptist Convention. Green and his wife, Karen Ann, have three sons, John, Philip, and Mathew.
