All the contents of the home of the late Millicent Coulliette Fleming have been given to the Chipola Historical Trust by Millie Fleming Moran of Indiana and will be auctioned off on Saturday, July 12th, 9:00 am at the Coulliette family home located at 2929 Madison Street in Marianna. Moran is selling the home and is donating all of the unattached contents for auction to benefit the Trust, which is a non-profit organization, focused on raising awareness of and preserving Jackson County history. There are over 200 beautiful and useful items to be auctioned. A partial listing include 2 dining room tables, chairs, living room furniture, a marble top bedroom suite, oriental style rugs, lamps, beautiful mirrors, paintings, antique sideboard, old mantles, wrought iron patio furniture, knickknacks, and much, much more.
The Trust will also accept items donated by the public to be auctioned. Donations may include golf carts, furniture, cars and boats but must be in good usable condition. No junk, please. The Trust is an IRS 502 (c) (3) organization and a tax letter will be given to donors for the sale price. Please contact Claude Reese at 594-5463 or Pat Crisp at 482-5276 for further information.
A one hour preview will start at 8 am before the auction begins at 9 am only July 12. All items must be paid for in full and removed from the premises on the day of the sale. A 10% buyer’s premium will be added to the highest bid on each item. The auction is being facilitated by Ludlum Reality and Auction of Dothan, Alabama, and will take place at 2929 Madison Street in Marianna.
