‘We Dig Nurses’ was Covenant Hospice’s slogan honoring National Nurses Week. Both Community Educator’s, Merian Milton, BSW, and Mary Herring, RN, CHPN, delivered sand pails filled with shovels and lots of goodies to Nurses through out Calhoun, Jackson, Washington and Holmes Counties. Wendy Dudley and Kim Barfield were thrilled to accept the gift on behalf of the 2nd floor Nurses at Jackson Hospital. "We wish we could do so much more" says Peggy Moore, RN, BSN, CHPN, Director of Branch Operations of Covenant Hospice in Marianna. Mrs. Moore added "No material item can express the level of gratitude Covenant Hospice has for nurses."
Celebrating 25 years of keeping the promise, Covenant Hospice is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate services to patients and loved ones during times of life-limiting illnesses.
